I love sitting here |
I
got used to reading some books at library if campus is getting so terrible for
my mind. If I got a “hectic-campus-day” and I had finished all of campus duty
already, I prefer going to campus library than boosting at canteen. Stay cool
over there and enjoy browsing information from internet. Yes of course, staying
at library is more complete if my laptop, note book, and a pen had been on my
table. Not truly such a fascinating habit, but I love do it.
My
favourite part of Unsyiah Library is Journal Corner. I would like to visit this
corner because there are many books, journals, magazines, brochures, etc. On
Monday (Sept 23th 2014), I went to Unsyiah library by myself. I felt sad
because my lecture canceled appointment we made yesterday. Huft, I was very
disappointed. Annoyed.
Weekender
Magazine was my best alternative to read. Actually, on every chance to visit
this corner, I wish I could read all of them. But because of limit time, I just
read one or two journal. Well, Weekender Magazine catched my eyes. I looked
Dewi Sandra on its cover (yeah, although she hasn’t wore hijab yet). I was
interested with all the content in.
On
special content of Weekender, I read Dewi Sandra quotes, she said…
Weekender Magazine, Dewi Sandra on its cover |
“Once you start regretting,
you’re not accepting who you really are. I’m not a person who is always right.
No body on this planet is. You learn, and that is the most important thing in
being human. Do you want to learn from the mistakes, or to be so scared to do
anything at all? You have just to believe in yourself!”
“You have to be big enough to be
able to have a heart to heart witg someone to say sorry. And never say never.
Because you really can not predict what life has to offer. You can plan, have
your ideals and ambitions, but then you find out that it was not the plan after
all”
I
think her quote is quite interesting. I realize that no body is perfect. Every
body has mistakes and maybe we realize it after everything happened. Regret always
comes late so that we must more be careful to take the risk. It means that we
have to brave to take the risks, whatever it will be!
My favorite corner at Unsyiah Library |
My
spirit increased spontantly after had read that magazine. Dewi Sandra was a
wise woman even though she had divorce 2 times! I cann’t imagine that she was
still persistence to get true love for her life. She was also keep struggle for
her carrier. I really proud of her!
Well,
to be a woman is rather hard actually. “You
must think like a man, act like a lady,
look like a young girl, and work like a horse”
Nothing
is impossible in this world. I have to believe with my skill and my dreams.
Even it’s hard, I have to realize that I have my own power, strength. Yaaah,
reading and having quality time at library is not really bad. I can learn
anything from books or magazines I read. I also can improve my reading skill
because I get used to reading English text. I wish it will help me someday!
If
you have many problem and getting stress. Look around you and take a book. Read
it. Whatever it is. And you will get something different because you get spirit
by what you see, read, and feel. After read it, you will feel better, trust me.
It works!

yeah, reading is expanding horizon and enlarging minds...
I have to say that "a person who read will know the world shaped by words".
